Basketry and coil paper art is a simple and pleasurable craft. Baskets can be made from scrap yarns, fabrics, paper (tissue paper or fine weight material recommended), and macrame cord. The paper cord works for jewelry, furniture piping, home decor, and classroom arts & crafts. The coiling cord features a 100% paper core bound in a fine polyester mesh knit. Taping cutting points prevents fraying. Compatible with sport, worsted, or jumbo weight yarns using large-eye plastic needles. The 50-foot coil yields approximately two 8.5" x 6" wrapped baskets.
