Basketry and coil paper art is a simple and pleasurable craft. Baskets can be made from scrap yarns, fabrics, paper (we recommend tissue paper or other fine weight material,) and macrame cord. The cord can also be used for jewelry, furniture piping, home décor, or classroom collage work. Made from 100% paper core bound in a fine polyester mesh knit, the product requires large-eye needles and sharp shears for use. One 100-foot coil yields approximately three medium-sized wrapped coil baskets (7 inches wide x 4 inches tall).
