February what? Yeah, that's right people, this is not a drill! It's February. It's the shortest month, it's cold, it feels bleak but wait! ... There's Valentine's Day!
If you're like me, of course, you'll just be wearing black.
But for those of us who love love, love to love, love pink, whatever your poison, Valentine's Day is a moment of light in a dark place. The Holidays are over, St. Pat's is like a month away, what else is there to do?
I may not be a fan, but that doesn't mean that you have to be a grouch. There are also adults who love this holiday too. There are weddings on this day, there are Birthdays on this day, and there are people who just want that romantic evening together.
And that's ok, that's cool, I dig it. If that's the case, why not get back to basics: make your loved one something.
Something from the heart. Or, how about an actual heart?

Getting back to basics is important to me this year, finding ways to re-use and upcycle. Going back to simple, easy to make crafts that are not super time consuming but still charming and worthy of gift giving.
So MAKE your love something for today. Something festive and simple and from your heart.
In the meantime, I shall be in this corner stuffing my face with heart shaped chocolates. Thank you.
